COME JOIN US THIS FALL-Major Discipleship Outreach

COME JOIN US ON OUR ARIZONA OUTREACH

“Pray for Dillon who is an alcoholic, drug user and severely depressed. He hates living and doesn’t know how to feel or be loved. Please send him someone to show him a way out. Open his heart and eyes to the light and give him hope…

There is hope through Jesus for Dillon!    Help us reach others like him.

Native Americans are still the forgotten mission field  with less than 2%  Christians, yet the Great Commission reminds us to reach first our Jerusalem – America..  It is only through Jesus Christ  that there is any hope for Native Americans dealing with alcoholism, drugs, despair, and the highest suicide rate among youth.  Sustainable faith  in Jesus Christ among Natives can only be created when they are reached through discipleship  by their own people.  Warriors for Christ  is called to help fulfill the Great Commission to the Native church.

We are planning a major outreach this Fall. We will be returning to Indian Bible College  in Flagstaff, Arizona for Evangelism and Discipleship training for the freshman class.  On Saturday we will have a workshop for returning students, and area Native leadership.

Then we will be going on to a training at Pastor Cid Cota’s church in Show Low AZ.  He is also organizing a Pastors workshop on how Warriors for Christ can help  them reach their reservations.

During a panel discussion of Native Pastors, the question was asked “What is the greatest need in the Native church today?”  The answer was given by Pastor Ken Pretty on Top, of Crow Agency, “DISCIPLESHIP.”

Team up with us.  Together with Warriors for Christ –YOU  can reach the  Native churchWith  your partnership, through your  prayers and financial support, we will be able to provide this discipleship training.

Specific areas your financial gifts will cover include:  Airfare, rental car, lodging, a meal for students at IBC sponsored by Warriors for Christ, and complete sets of Walking the New Path for freshman students and Native Pastors..

PAST BLESSING AND FUTURE PLANS 2015/2016-Warriors for Christ

“On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. “ Matthew 2:11
Christians are Christ’s gift to the Creator. As we follow His path, He is in the process of making us good gifts.

We hope you had a great family time this past Thanksgiving, thanking our Father Creator for His many blessings. As we look toward Christmas and the end of the year, Warriors for Christ wants to thank you for your prayers and financial support in 2015. It has been a year of great blessing, and we look forward to 2016.

Brown’s Story:

The enthusiasm and dedication of our discipleship class has been amazing. Let us tell you about Brown Fulton as an example. Brown has been attending discipleship class faithfully for the last two years. Not only is he committed to coming, he encourages others to come and learn about who they are in Christ and the path God has for them. He agreed to put his testimony on YouTube. He said that if one person is drawn closer to the Lord, it would be worth it.

Like Peter, Brown is a fisherman. He is often on Puget Sound, crabbing, shrimping, and fishing for salmon or halibut, sometimes right up to discipleship class time. Recently, he had a one hour boat ride to get to the bay that was open for fishing. He sat out all day in a very rocky boat because the wind was up, and one hour boat ride back. But even after his long day, guess where was he at 7 pm that evening?– at discipleship class.
